Once again, comics are too cutting-edge for the silly, out-of-touch mainstream!

Last night on The Daily Show Jon Stewart made a joke about scientists putting werewolves on the moon in order to study the effects. Jon Stewart should have just read his comics!

Comic books: so far ahead of the mainstream they can't even see us anymore!

There's also John Jameson, the werewolf (or Man Wolf) astronaut. You know he has an action figure now? That blew my mind. My mind is easily blown, but still.

That was a plot in the comic Scud: The Disposable Assassin. The werewolf sets foot on the moon and turns into a sentient black hole.

I liked what they did with John Jameson in Earth X. If there's any place where the idea of day and night can be most amplified, it's gotta be on the moon.

And imagine how much fun a wolf would have running and frolicking around on the moon.

All I could think of during that bit on the Daily Show:

"Ladies and Gentleman, we are going to blow up the Moon!"

-Thanks Mr. Show. . . .
