What Should Diggle Do For DC?

Andy Diggle recently resigned with DC Comics for another year of exclusivity. The thing is, his Losers series is ending, and his Silent Dragon series is a mini-series. So he is pretty free and clear. So what do you think Diggle should do for DC?

I would love to see him do a Sgt. Rock series and an Adam Strange series. Oh, wouldn't he be awesome on Challengers of the Unknown? Good to see DC keep such a good writer.

He and Pascal Ferry should definitely do more Adam Strange. That would be really excellent

Adam Strange would be great, but I don't know if I could think of a suitable replacement for Ferry.

Maybe put him on the Flash? He does action really well and I enjoyed his inner monologue on AS, so it might be a good fit.

Diggle HAS had some awesome luck with artists.

I mean, Yu, Ferry, Colin Wilson and Jock!!!

Kind of hard to top that!

But what was particularly surprising of his decision NOT to leave DC to go to Marvel is that HALF those artists DID sign exclusives with Marvel!

So he CAN'T work with Yu or Ferry!

Oh, and some folks really like Breccia, as well (just adding him to the list of notable artists that Diggle has worked with at DC).

I guess Goran Sudzuka is the worst artist that he's worked with at DC, and that is some pretty heady praise!

Yu is going to be drawing the Ultimate Wolverine vs. Hulk mini-series written by one of the co-creators of Lost, Damon Lindelof!

I don't understand the Diggle-love. He's been a middling writer since his 2000ad days (although Snow/Tiger was fun), and his DC work hasn't been much better. Not every British comics writer is a genius, you know.

Agreed.

I mean, he's not Grant Morrison, but who is?

Put him on any DC title, and it would likely be one of the top 5-6 DC titles.
