I Like Girls, But I Can Live Without the Velociraptors
Existing as a sort of counterpoint to the nudie book (sans the nudity) inanity of Frank Cho's Shanna the She Devil, Jonathan and Joshua Luna's Ultra stood out in comic land as a bastion of good taste, good stories and good art starring women.
The eight-issue mini-series is ending soon, but the brothers have already announced their new project, and surprisingly enough, they have not been snatched up by either of the big two yet!
Their new project is titled Girls.
Newsarama has a preview up for it here.
Check it out, it looks like it will continue in the vein of Ultra, which is to say that it will be good stuff...after all, any comic that opens up with the journey of a spermatozoa has got to be good, right?
